Danny McAvoy

Danny McAvoy has written the story, libretto, lyrics, and music for five musicals. Three of these works — including an early version of Eddie & Jenny — were adapted into five-episode radio series and broadcast across the UK, Ireland, and beyond, reaching up to 200,000 listeners per episode.

A full stage production of another of Danny’s musicals, Little Ships, was performed and filmed at The Barnfield Theatre in Exeter in June 2023.

Alongside his ongoing work on Eddie & Jenny, Danny is developing an album of original music, featuring songs from his musicals as well as a selection of standalone tracks.

​

He is collaborating with London-based Skyline Studios and a range of talented international vocalists to showcase and promote his songwriting. The album is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
