Adam Holgate is a guitarist & bassist, touring musician, published songwriter, sound engineer and teacher based in Bristol.

Originally from a small community in the Orkney Islands, he is a lover of old music, especially Gospel, Blues, Soul, R’n’B, Jazz and Funk and has toured internationally across 20+ countries, headlining the main stage of the 2018 Montreal Jazz Festival in fron of 25,000 people.

His primary band, Hannah Williams and the Affirmations, were sampled by Jay - Z on the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling ‘4.44’. He also works with Wolfgang Valbrun, formerly Ephemerals, and has collaborated on multiple synced songs, including a worldwide Infiniti car commercial and syncs with Hilton Hotels, Phillip Morris Tobacco and ABC Show The Rookie.​​
