Leah Townley
Director

Leah Townley is a dynamic director, producer, and creative educator from London, driven by a deep love for storytelling and education, and passionate about bringing real-life stories to the stage in bold and imaginative ways.

She holds an MA in Cultural & Creative Industries from King’s College London, a BA (Hons) in English Literature, and trained with leading practitioners including John Wright, Mick Barnfather, Rosemary Brandt and Suzanna Alcantud.

Her theatre work includes Research and Development on Starbird by Sharon King Chai at the Little Angel Theatre; Love, Genius and a Walk by Gay Walley; The Chicago Cowboy and Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite, devised by Boy Who Cried Theatre Company and performed at the Edinburgh Festival and in London. ​​

Leah has worked extensively as a facilitator, in schools and with young offenders and the homeless whilst working with Escape Artists. ​​
